Discover the sporades islands
Skiathos-Skopelos-Alonissos-Skyros
The Sporades islands are geographically located between the Greek mainland and the greek islands of North Eastern Aegean, almost in the center of the Aegean Sea. These four small islands have a special character each and amazing nature. The most popular island of Sporades Greece for your holidays and much frequented by the youth is Skiathos, while Skopelos and Alonissos have more family atmosphere but still gorgeous beaches. The least known but equally beautiful island of Sporades is Skyros, with a picturesque capital town, secluded beaches and interesting sightseeing.
Pagasitikos Gulf
The Pagasitikos Gulf (Greek: Παγασητικός κόλπος) is a round-shaped gulf in Magnesia, with the city of Volos being its main port. The gulf is embraced by Mount Pelion and the mainland, with an opening to the Aegean Sea. Pelion is an area of incredible beauty - a high mountain with abundant fauna and flora, combined with stunning beaches.
The Pagasitikos Gulf is ideal for relaxed sailing, as the sea is usually relatively calm, with gentle winds that are channeled down from Pelion. Sailing here will give you the opportunity to discover the captivating beauty of its many unspoilt bays, coves and beaches and teal-coloured waters. You may even find yourself accompanied by dolphins.
Swim in the glimmering waters near Lefokastro or Nies. Taste the local specialities in one of the many seaside villages - Pelion's speciality (spetzofai) in the delightful Kato Gatzea or Afissos, or crayfish spaghetti in the little fishing village on the island of Trikeri.
